Dear all,
I am using all my efforts to write a good cover letter. Can anyone please check it?
Thanks in advance.

Dear <sir>
The <position>, as <company> describes it, inspires me. Seldom, one can feel such inspiration from a ‘simple' job description. This is the first reason why I am applying.

Secondly, it is rather easy to imagine myself as the person you are looking for, basically because I have the required skills and competence and, in addition, I am strongly committed towards excellence on my profession. Moreover, I am really keen to work within the medical field and experience the sensation of truly help people!

I would like to highlight some positive aspects on my application, as follow:
a. broad scope of work experience - during the last few years, I designed and developed products from furniture to military equipment, considering both the design point of view and the engineer point of view. Such experience provided me the ability to better understand the realm of a project and to easily tackle design problems.
b. a deep knowledge of creative methods/processes and its application into project tasks, sponsoring creative environments and innovative behaviors. Creativity is the key to the success of a design.
c. experience following products from ideation to serial production including project management, relations with customers and suppliers, as well as documentation.
d. international experience as design team leader, taking advantage of the so called "medicci effect".

In addition to the attached Cover letter, CV and portfolio, please look at <weblink> for a deeper understanding of my background.
I will appreciate the opportunity of an interview to better expose my arguements as well as some confidential aspects of some projects on my portfolio.

Please contact me for any further information you might require. I look forward for your reply.
Best regards,
JP

Your heart is in the right place, JP, but the language is too flowery and sentimental for a business letter.

Dear Mr _____ :

This letter is in application for the position of ______ as advertised in __(medium)___ on __(date)__.

I believe that I have the required skills and competence, and I am strongly committed to excellence on my profession. Moreover, I am very keen to work within the medical field and experience the sensation of truly helping people.

Here are some relevant highlights of my application.

a. A broad scope of work experience: I have designed and developed products from furniture to military equipment, considering both the design and engineering points of view. Such experience has provided me with the ability to better understand the realm of a project and to strategically tackle design problems.

b. A deep knowledge of creative methods and processes and their application to project tasks, fostering creative environments and innovative behaviors: Creativity is the key to the success of a design.

c. Experience shepherding products from ideation to serial production: Project management, customer and supplier relations, and documentation.

d. International experience as design team leader, taking advantage of the so-called "Medici Effect": Diverse teams have a far better chance of creating more ideas than homogeneous ones, and if managed well, they will generate exponentially more new and unique idea combinations.

In addition to this cover letter and the attached CV and portfolio, please access<weblink> for more information about my background. I would be grateful for the opportunity of an interview to better present my credentials and discuss the more confidential aspects of some projects in my portfolio.

Please contact me for any further information you may require. I am looking forward to your reply.

Sincerely yours,
