Hi

I saw it in an Indian cookery book. I do not think crisp is used as a verb -- can I request your take?

Leave it on a low flame and let it crisp.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: Leave it on a low flame and Leave it on a low fire are the same?

'Crisp' is indeed used as a verb.

vb

  1. to make or become crisp

(Collins)

'on a low fire' is not used in a cooking context in BE or AE.
