"help me do this" or "help me to do this"?

"help me do this" or "help me to do this"?

i'm confused.

please help.
I think both are correct, but the second one is much more common to me 
For example, 
"Please help me to do this homeword."
And it could be as well, " Please help me do this the right way ".
