A senior (citizen)

Many of the very long words listed by Julie are, of course, seldom or never used in everyday English.

'Teen'ager

mind the endings of the following numbers...

Twelve (doesn't end with 'teen')

(but) Thirteen (ends with 'teen')

Fourteen (ends with 'teen')

..........

Nineteen (ends with 'teen')

thus the agers between Thirteen& Nineteen are called 'Teen'agers'

thanks...
