Hi!

I would like to ask a question about 'she' and 'he' and their variations. I've noticed that sometimes there is a word 'him' about a woman. How can this be possible? For example, I read from a magazine that "... With pictures of him picking up..." and the article was about a woman. I thought it was like he - his - him and she - her - her and the article should be like "... With pictures of her picking up..." or something like that. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you.

Hi,

If the magazine referred to a woman as 'him', it was an error.

Maybe the pictures were of someone else. Can you give us the complete sentence?
