I was wondering if we need to put a punctuation after the surname as in Smith's Family or just leave it out as in the Smith Family? Please advice, thanks very much! Help Wanted T_T

It's not necessary. You say "The Smith Family" or "The Smiths". You use <'s> to show possession, not to refer the whole family: Mr. Smith's family lives in Texas.

Hope this helps! Emotion: smile
