lol, of course I do remember having to wait a lot for the game to load, only for finding out that something went wrong in some part of the loading process and I had to start everything from the beggining. Although I remember the C64 as a great computer with an incredible sound quality, and I still have a C-128 with a working datasette in my attic. Ahh... those were the days.
When I think about my childhood, and more specifically, about my musical preferences, I remember Madonna was the absolute top for me. Strangely I remember her just like she is today. I suppose exercise and of course, several surgeries, are the best weapons against aging.

ps. Scooby scooby doo, looking for you, Scooby scooby doo, where are you?
Oh, Woodward...

I don't know that you could be so, very, sentimental.
Don't you know the tears almost falling from my eyes?
Or maybe the sentimental one is me! Emotion: crying
How I missed those days...

Hello

I liked this thread a lot. I didn't think it was so different, just because I didn't reaaly think of it at all.
I was raised in the country. I remember we got the milk from the farm, and ugh!!! what a disgusting smell in the stable. I wouldn't drink the milk when it had just come out of the cow.
We used to play cow-boys and indians with our donkey, yes!!! How we would jump on it like cow-boys, and we were out in the country the whole day.
Not only was TV in black and white, but there was only one channel in France back in the sixties. But never mind, watching TV was forbidden, so we used to creep down the stairs to peep in to see The Potemkin.
i also have a scar : grasping a huge flower pot on the kitchen sill to spy on the grown ups. it fell on my ankle. And also, a big fright when we drank the dog's medicine for fun (pretending to be a doctor)
