In my experience, stress can be a great driving force that motivates me to work smarter and more efficiently. However, I've come to realize that stress usually arises from having an overwhelming number of tasks to handle. So, my first step is to take a step back and prioritize my responsibilities. By focusing on what needs to be done first and not letting negative emotions drag me down, I can effectively manage my stress levels and tackle my tasks with a clearer mind.

This section is awkward phrasing. I think this is due to the repetitive use of words….first…first.. step…step…

It is good, except "work smarter" is nebulous, and it seems to mean nothing more than "work more efficiently". Say one or the other but not both, or come up with a word that actually means something in place of "smarter", and say both.

I think it can be replaced with other words that convey the same meaning such as the following:

"So, my first step is to slow down and prioritize my responsibilities."
