Hi teachers. I'm writing a movie script and wanted to ask you something. If a scene is taking place inside a car, is it possible to write: Tanya gets in, starts the car, and drives off.

Or can I only use "drives off" if the scene had taken place outside the car?

I see your problem, I think. "Off" calls attention to the place she is leaving in the car. but that's probably OK. She can drive off if all you mean is she sets the car in motion under her control and leaves the area thus.
