The graph compares the various consumption of 3 spreads include: margarine, low fat&reduced spreads and butter from 1981 to 2007.
It is clear that, all 3 spreads have a downward trend between 2001 and 2007. There are dramatically fluctuation in all spreads between 1981 and 2007.
At the begining of period, butter reached a peak of around 160 grams. after that, it drop drastically to 40 grams in 2007. On the others hand, margarine sharply reduced to 80 in the first year but it increased 20 grams after 1986 and reach the highest point at 100 grams in 1991. Before sharly fell from 1996 to 2007 that was stabiity in 100 grams between 1991 and 1996. However, it reduced to lowest point in 2007 and the figure reached to 40 grams.
Low fat and reduced spreads advent of 1996 and it sharly increased to 80 grams in the 2001 which is the highest point. Althought, in 2001, it started go down and rech the lowest point around 65 grams in 20007.
