I always wonder who wears those dresses you see on fashion models. Those dresses are not only vulgar but also very strange looking. Who makes them? Fashion designers? If that's how a fashion designer works, then anyone can be a fashion designer. Take a piece of cloth, pour some ink on it and wrap it around some brainless model, making sure most of her body is exposed to the audience. You are a fashion designer then! Who do those fashion models represent? Aren't they the epitome of vulgarity and body objectification?

Nobody. Those kinds of things are "successful" because someone decides they must be so, and some people consider those things to be worthy of consideration because they are "successful". It's a cycle. But I said "some people". I personally find fashion shows to be among the stupidest things on earth, but everyone has their own opinion, hehe. Emotion: wink

same here...i dont get fasion shows, they shouldn't even be called fasion. If they want to see fasion they should check out some video games/anime....people actually wear that stuff for fun.
Since catwalks are likely to be around for a while, you might find it easier to live with it if you decide it can be a source of chuckles. Emotion: big smile

Hi PBF,

That was so funny. Thank you for sharing it. I also found few other sources of chuckles there. Just see how Carmen fell... it was so funny and the girl who came to pick her also fell.Emotion: big smile

Aren't modern art in general like that? They just tried to make some trivial things with made-up philosophy slapped on it.

Well...

As a woman I believe that they deliberately underestimate our ability to choose and attack our sense of beauty.

Not only regarding dressing, but also music, TV shows etc.

And there is also an excessive effort to expose us to abundant sexual stimuli.

It is really awful.
