According to medical experiments:

If you can find the Man's Head within 3 seconds, your right brain is more developed than normal people.

If you can find the Man's Head within 1 minute, your right brain is developed normally.

If you can find the Man's Head within 1-3 mintues, your right brain is slow in reacting, you should eat more meat protein.

Good for you, Aru! Some people would say your right brain dominated over your left... till they saw your grades.

Miss ya, looking forward to June.

- Joy
sighThat would have made so much more sense to me if I had actually known what the right and left sides of the brain govern. Yeah, yeah, you guessed it, I skipped nervous co-ordination before the test... Emotion: big smile

For the uninitiated - Aru is talking about the hopelessly long chapter on nervous coordination we had(she had and I have) to study for our bio exam.

Right brain = your creative side, imagination etc. Yes yes, I know your particular right brain is highly stimulated by Chemistry.

Left brain = the logical, organised part that handles academics, scientific thinking etc.

Remind anyone of "predicative and demonstrative roots", CBSE Core English students?

Students: We have free audio pronunciation exercises.
Jeez...

Does this mean I just simply have a big head?

Emotion: embarrassed

And does this mean you actually did nervous co-ordination????? Emotion: surprise

Lol

Predicative and demonstrative? No, they don't even ring a bell... Am just not in English Grammar Mode anymore apparently, despite being a grammar Nazi...

Cheers

Whatever it means, it means that you'reONLINE! Yay! Now go check your email and let me eat your head up about English. CBSE Core English for Class 12. Blechh.

I haven't done Nervous Coordination yet. It just means I love reading anything related to bio other than the NCERT text.

Predicative and Demonstrative? Direct quote from that ******* chapter - What India Can Teach Us. Here's the sentence -

"Is there not an inward intellectual world also which has to be studied in its historical development, from the first appearance of predicative and demonstrative roots, their combination and differentiation, leading up to the beginning of rational thought in its steady progress from the lowest to the highest stages?"

Chew on that, if you will. Jhuma Ma'am told me to check the dictionary. I hate CBSE English, have I said it before?

Yours in hate for our thrice-damned syllabus,

- Joy
Joy, you just spoke of the CBSE syllabus on such hallowed ground?

I am astounded by such behavior...

Such evils shouild not be spoken of unless rendered absolutely necessary...

From now on it shall be referred to as The-Syllabus-That-Must-Not-Be-Named-At-Any-Cost-And-Should-Be-Forgotten-As-Soon-As-Possible~

I stand admonished by my mentor and the former head girl... Emotion: embarrassed

But, Miss English, your rechristening of our syllabus is just a bit too... lengthy for my patience levels?

Why don't we just forget all about it?Emotion: big smile
