Often called the "ring" finger.
For me, 5 is the "little finger".

The fourth finger was condemned by Inocratis to wander namelessly throughout the world.
No that's not right.
The fourth finger was called "Thumb-four" because it had no other name and the original meaning of thumb was finger.
No, that's not right.
Ring finger, at least by those who wear wedding rings on that finger.

Be careful with your numbering, too. Musicians count fingers in two different ways: On keyboard instruments, the thumb is 1 and the index finger is 2; on string and wind instruments, the index finger is 1 and the thumb, if used, is 0.
People in different countries have different conventions for counting on fingers, too. Some start with the index finger, some with the thumb, some with the pinky. (Some raise fingers, some point to them, and some fold them down, with or without the help of the other hand.)
