Hi,

I wrote this sentence, but it didn't know whether it is correct. Could you give me an answer?

With helps of my friends, that some of them had owed me a debt of gratitude, I overcame all difficulties.

Thanks in advance.

This is correct, but the part in italics seems slightly odd. What do you mean? Can you say it another way?

Hi Clive,

Thanks for your help.

I added that part because I mentioned that I had helped my friends before. So, when I had some difficulties, they repaid me.

Maybe I should try another way to express my ideal.
