How many spaces are left after you print a full stop?
I'm happy to see this question here. I was always taught to type two spaces after a period, but my children are now being taught to use only one. Their teachers claim it is a new standard since the advent of computers. Does anyone know if there is really a new rule?
I heard somewhere that word processors have adjusted for this and therefore only one space is necessary.

That said, old habits die hard. Emotion: smile
