On Friday we __(break up) for the holidays. My friends and I have got a great weekend planned. On Friday we __(have) a party to celebrate the end of the college year. Then we __(start) our mini adventure-on Saturday morning we __(get up) early-that's the plan anyway- to drive to Dover to catch the ferry to France. The boat __(leave) at 9.30.
When we get there, I expect we _(stop) at a cafe for something to eat, and then we __(drive) straight to Paris. We're not sure how long it __(take). There's a rock concert there that evening which we _(probably go) to.
We_(catch) the Tuesday morning ferry back to Dover. I_(send) you postcard, if I have time.
Hope you have a good summer.___(you do) anything excitig?

Then we start/arestarting/are going to start our mini adventure -on Saturday morning we get up/are getting up/are going to get up early-that's the plan anyway - to drive to Dover to catch the ferry to France. The boat leaves at 9.30. When we get there, I expect we will stop at a cafe for something to eat, and then we are going to drive/are driving/'ll drive straight to Paris. We're not sure how long it will take. There's a rock concert there that evening which we will probably go to to. We catch/are catching/are going to catch the Tuesday morning ferry back to Dover. I 'll send you postcard, if I have time.Hope you have a good summer. Are you doing anything exciting?

That's what I'd probably say. Others might have different thoughts. I find this type of exercise pointless (especially if the answer book claims there is only one correct form for each gap). There are many possibilities, depending on what is going through the speaker's mind at the moment of speaking.
Thank you.
