Hi,

Could you please, help me find better solutions:

1) XY crew gained another layer of friendship: the one that 2) drives restlessly through the night, often ending in the small hours and thus connecting the days, time and space 3) creating new and unexpected ties on the path to the creation of a new theatrical happening.

(2. the author wants to say that they spent time together after the shows, even late in the night when they should be resting. I'm also not sure that restlessly makes any sense here, perhaps the author wanted to say relentlessly)

Thank you

Here's how I might say it:

1) The XY crew found that their friendship was both reaching a new level and 2)continuing through the late hours of the night. Often they stayed in the company of one another until the wee hours of the morning, 3) which helped form deeper connections and better chemistry on the stage.

Also, "restlessly" does indeed make sense. It means that their friendship continues throughout the night without respite.

Thank you Young C. Can I say it like this:

The XY crew found that their friendship was reaching a new level continuing through the late hours of the night which helped them form deeper connections and better chemistry on the stage.?
None of what you've written is incorrect, Antonia. However, to give it a bit more polish, I would alter it like so:

The XY cast found that their friendship was reaching a new level and, continuing through the late hours of the night, it helped them form deeper connections and better chemistry on the stage.

Still, I think that "continuing though the late hours of the night" sounds a bid odd upon further consideration. Unless it is broken, a friendship is assumed to be constant, and thus it would be obvious that it continues throughout the night. I believe what you are trying to make clear is that the "crew" spend a great amount of time together during the night. If that is indeed the case, I might change the phrase to something like this:

"The XY cast found that their friendship was reaching a new level and, as they continued to spend time together through the late hours of the night, they formed deeper connections and better chemistry on the stage."

I hope that helps!
I like it very much. Thank you Y.C!
