Hellow, Avangi
I have another question :
I found that my dream is traveling around the world.
=I found my dream traveling around the world.
Are those two sentences accepted grammatically?
In other words, I'm wondering if 'Gerund' can be used as 'Object Complement'.
Could you explain ?
Gooday!
I found that my dream is traveling around the world. = I realized/discovered that my dream is traveling around the world.
I found my dream traveling around the world. = I found my dream while I was traveling around the world.
I found my dream = I found something I have been yearning for a long time.
In this sentence, is 'Traveling' considered as Participle orG not Gerund?
Is there ambiguous meaning between them?
What do you think about this below?
-- Would you mind me carrying this bag for you?
Thanks ,
Gooday!
It doesn't appear to me the same as the above = I found my dream while I was traveling around the world.
Traveling - is a present participle. I find myself being unable to resist sweets.
I think 'being' is Gerund not participle.
Do you think "being' is Present Participle?
Please give me Why!
'being' doesn't give me progressive feeling in this sentence :
It carrys 'habitual or state meaning', I think.
Like below sentence
Would you mind me carrying this bag?
It seems that 'being' is used in the same way as 'carrying'.
So I think 'being ' as gerund.
What do yu think about my idea?
Gooday!
