I would like to know the difference in the meaning between "1" and "2".

1. Can I go with you to the concert?

2. Can I come with you to the concert?

Wowenglish1. Can I go with you to the concert?

2. Can I come with you to the concert?
The direction seems wrong to me in the second one. For me it's

Can I go with you?
and
Can you come with me?

Nevertheless, I recognize that people use the opposite verbs in both cases.

To me, "come" feels slightly more intimate, and "go" slightly more impersonal. That's about all I can think of.
