AnonymousWhy is the correct form is "going for" and not "go for"?
"mention" takes an -ing form.

to mention going, to mention seeing something, to mention finding something.

_____________

"remember" also takes an -ing form.

Remember can also be followed by the to--infinitive, meaning a future or subsequent action:

Remember to lock the door and turn off the lights when you leave,
He didn't remember to shut the window, and the curtains got soaked with rain.
