You may get it too, or not, but I just got some great Canadian road signs. I gather I have 10 megs of free webspace, but I don't know from such things.
If anyone is interested in getting a copy of my email, look at my reply-to address and send me your address, and I'll send you one. I'll probably take 2 or 3 days to wait for all requests, and send them out at once.
My favorite sign from the US I saw in rural Louisiana. It was a permanent and said "Do not track mud on highway." I didn't see any construction or any mud.

You could lock it if you had its key.
Speaking of Canadians,
My favorite sign from the US I saw in rural Louisiana. It was a permanent and said "Do not track mud on highway." I didn't see any construction or any mud.

I've heard that somewhere in the arid desert on the highway north of Las Vegas many miles from the nearest lawn there's a sign that says "Keep off the grass".
In Bakersfield, California, there's a dry, dusty riverbed that passes under a bridge on Highway 99. There used to be maybe still is a sign saying "No fishing from the bridge".
On rare occasions there's water flowing in the river. I've wondered if the sign was seriously intended for times when there might be fish in the water or reflected someone's sense of humor.

Did you see any farm equipment in muddy fields?

No. No farm equipment. No muddy fields.
But even if there were, what would make this piece of highway more important than any other? I drove on that two-lane road and others for probably 20 miles and saw no other such signs. And did they expect people to get out of their equipment and scrape the mud off.

I'm not saying it applied in this case, but in UK it's an offence to drop more than the odd blob of mud on the road from agricultural or building operations or anything else, so here you do have to scrape the mud off your farming tackle or clean up the road. I'll be surprised if no similar provision exists in most US states.
