Hey everyone..
The word "gotta" is abbreviation of what ?

Each of these examples is a little faster to say than the previous one.
I have got to study.
I've got to study.
I've gotta study.
I gotta study.

So there's no abbreviation in " gotta" it just depends on the sentence itself right?
Students: Are you brave enough to let our tutors analyse your pronunciation?

It's a way to say the sentence.
We say 'gotta' a lot when speaking fast. but we don't normally write it as 'gotta'.

Oh seriously ! even if I mean it by slang language ?
Yes, seriously. And learners sound rather ridiculous when they write it. 'Gotta', 'wanna' and several other forms are not words—just check your dictionary: they are attempts at transcribing native pronunciation in conversation.
Students: We have free audio pronunciation exercises.
Thank you so much teacher
