Hi

Please tell me whether this sentence is ok.

The workshop threw new light on making teaching more creative from the side of a teacher and enjoyable from a side of the student.
I would use on the side, in both cases (love those prepositions!).
Hi Suresh,

Almost. Not an easy thing for you to write.

The workshop threw new light on making teaching more creative from the side of the teacher and more enjoyable from the side of the student.

PS I see Philip recommends 'on'. I considered suggesting that, but decided 'from' sounded OK to me. 'On' is certainly not wrong.

Dear Clive,

I think 'from the side of a student' sounds more good than 'from the side of the student.' What do you think?

Clive, thank you very much.

Thank you, Philip.
Hi,

In this kind of structure, the teacher and the student are rhetorical ways of referring to all teachers, all students.
