Hi,

Can you check for me if these sentences are all grammatically correct, please?

I believe that you intended to... (idea in the past)

I believe that you intend to... (idea in the future)

I believe that you are intending to... (idea in just now)

Many Thanks.

What follows the "..." would have to fit. For example:

"I believe that you intended to hurt my chances for promotion." (The listener did something in past time that the speaker believes was intended to hurt the speaker's chances for promotion in future time.)

"I believe that you intend to hurt my chances for promotion." (The speaker believes that the listener is doing something in present time that will hurt the speaker's chances for promotion in future time.)

"I believe that you are intending to hurt my chances for promotion." (The speaker believes that the listener will do something in future time that will hurt the speaker's chances for promotion in future time.)

Thanks Sir.
