Hi

I'm wondering if I should put any articles before the phrases from the subject.

For example: Making money this way is not (an/the) easy living. OR Making money this way is (a/the) hard bread. I don't know if the sentences sound good, I'm just interested in the usage of the right articles.

Hi,

I'm wondering if I should put any articles before the phrases from the subject.

an easy living.

Making money this way is hard bread. This is not very idiomatic, at least not the way I speak.

Best wishes, Clive
