I'm not sure because of B saying "mail" instead of "e-mail" and not sure because I don't know if "doing" can be a good response to "checking".

I know frequent use of "not...yet" or "not yet" but I'm not sure about "yet" itself. Can it be replaced with a certain word if it has the most similar meaning to?

Isn't #3 showing more imptience because of the word "yet"?

E-mail would be better there, but the real problem with the first option is that it’s just not a very natural answer to the question. We’d say something like Yes, but I didn’t receive the e-mail.

It’s fine. I would get rid of just, though. It doesn’t really have any business being there.

Not that I can think of.

It could. Yet used this way tends to show impatience, but so does haven’t, to my ear.

Yes even i say the same, I'm not sure because of B saying "mail" instead of "e-mail" and not sure because I don't know if "doing" can be a good response to "checking".
