Hi Yayya Lautner,

The correct one is:

He also helps his mother during his leisure time.

Why?

Grammar Rule

To form simple present affirmative sentences, use the main verb in simple form (base form) for all persons, except for the 3rd person singular (he, she, it). For the 3rd person singular affirmative we normally add an “s” to the simple form (base form) of the verb.

Exception to the Rule.

When the simple form (base form) of a verb ends with SS, SH, CH, X, or O, we add “es” for the 3rd person affirmative singular (he, she, it).

Examples:

Kiss. She kisses.

Brush. He brushes.

Watch. She watches.

Relax. He relaxes.

Go. It goes.
