Hi

It was also a heist film (Million Dollar Hotel), so we might have needed more than 34 days to shoot.

--- I understand that it was also a film where there was a robbery and they needed more than 34 days to shoot the movie.

You also omitted 'so', so you removed the statement of direct consequence.

When one starts to paraphrase, one often loses or changes the tone and subtlety.

But is he saying that they needed more that 34 days, but they didn't have so much time, or they did longer than 34 days.
It seems to me that shooting a movie within 34 days it's very quickly. Too quickly. Is that possible?

It seems to me that shooting a movie within 34 days it's very quickly. Too quickly. Is that possible? Maybe it was a short movie.

There are 3 possibilities.
1. They didn't shoot the film. But if they had done so, it might have required more than 34 days.

2. They shot the film. It didn't require more than 34 days, but that was a possibility.

3.This alternative is unlikely.
They shot the film. He doesn't know how long it took, so there is a possibility that it took longer than 34 days.
