It's not me

It’s not me.

It has been you all along.

My heart is not mine

when it beats for you.

My breath is not mine

when it breathes for you.

The scarlet letter that I sent

was written with blood

shed for you.

The blue bells that I hold

have been grown

in the garden of love for you.

It’s not me.

It has always been about you.

The tears that roll down

my eyes are in your absence.

The sighs that I bear

are in agony of your separation.

The smiles that have disappeared

are because of your torture.

Now that I sleep down here

is the result of your negligence.
Friends, please take time to atleast write a line when you come to read the poem. Thank you.
Welcome back, Anita! I haven't seen you here for a long time. Have you been somewhere interesting?

I'm not sure about the last few lines - I've emboldened the phrases that aren't quite idiomatic:

my eyes are in your absence.

are in agony of your separation.

Now that I sleep down here

is the result of your negligence.
See you later,
