Rome folded a long time ago. Forget Rome.

Even so you are writing through that script and in English language. Do you have a better suggestion so Indian languages keep serving those at lower rungs of Indian society who will need them atleast for 5 more generations?

Wake up other languages and scripts are being used on the Net. Internet and its predecessors are rooted in an English-speaking region, and other choices take time to develop.

"Lower rungs"? Who are you trying to discriminate against?

Hindi as well as other Indian languages will die out unless some realistic steps are taken soon.

You have to elaborate what you wrote.
Does the person who refuses to spak in his mother tongue does not speak any language at all?
How would he have money and so on?
Indian languages will die out because there is no market force behind them for anyone to write things that people would want to read. Even in small towns people send their children to "English Medium" schools by paying fees that are very much out of their reach. In Government schools where facility for English is limited dumb children get into English class because the father of the child happens to have pull.
They all need to be written in simplest possible Roman transliteration.

this is another fantasy.

Why was it possible for Turkish, Malaysian, Indonesian to get written in Roman but not Indian languages. Why is it el ke aDvaani and not laa kri aDvaani?
Why is Jahari so queer? Oh yeah, because his momma got hit by three zebras and a monkey! I can't stand that *** no way!
They all need to be written in simplest possible Roman (whatever).

Rome folded a long time ago. Forget Rome.

Sanskrit folded a long time ago. Forget Sanskrit.

So post in another language, you maggot hypocrite!

Why, are you suggesting that there is equal access and opportunity for all sections of society in India?
Why was it possible for Turkish, Malaysian, Indonesian to get written

for turkish the mananer of the adaption of the perso-arabic alphabet was exteremely cumbersome and romanziation came at a time when literacy was low anyway. for the others, a low literacy and probably not a vast literary tradition to begin with.
English can't reform its spelling. think about it.
If future is to be associated with Hindi and English, our future is really dark. Sanskrit folded... when? A lot of people keep studying it right now. Forget Sanskrit when Sanskrit literature is the greatest literature in the entire world? You don't know what you are saying, really. If Hindi and English will be the pillars of our future, I prefer to commit suicide, specially if one consider how vulgar those languages are.

A little ethnocentric, aren't you?

Since I don't know you, I can't say I'll miss you. I just hope too many people aren't counting on you, since you seem intent on offing yourself.
