Dear Teachers,

1. I dunno if it's your first kiss or the first time you have tried to do this.

- "dunno" here means "don't know", right? and is this common?

2. He's way too shy around girls for his own good.

- What does "for his own good" mean here?

3. All after kissing is sexual contact, and sometimes you better of waiting.

- I think "sometimes you had better wait" is better, right?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.

- "dunno" here means "don't know", right? and is this common? Yes, but non-standard.

2. He's way too shy around girls for his own good.

- What does "for his own good" mean here?

He's exagerating doing it, and not acting in his interest this way.

3. All after kissing is sexual contact, and sometimes you better of waiting.

you're better off waiting

His own good => his own benefit. Because he is too shy around girls, he may not be able to make friends with them, or the girls may not feel comfortable approaching him. Therefore, his social life may suffer. If he were not shy around girls, the situation might have been different.

3. All after kissing is sexual contact, and sometimes you better of waiting.

I think the correct sentence should be

After all, kissing is sexual contact, and sometimes you’re better off waiting.

Don't write 'dunno'. This is, however, a kind of 'phonetic' representation of the way that we often pronounce 'don't know' in informal speech.
