A house is a type of building, whereas home is where a person lives.

Newguest1. My home is very big. --- Home or House?

If you live in a house, then either can work; if you own a house but don't live in it, use "house". Otherwise if you're talking about the place you live in (regardless of what type of building it is), use "home".

Newguest2. In my house there is a big TV.--- I suppose "home" in this case wouldn't be OK, right?

If you live there, then it would be okay.

The real estate industry is trying to sell you a house. In order to do that, they think that they should always say "home" when they mean "house" because it will make you feel good about the house and want to buy it. You have a big TV in your very big house. If you say you have a TV in your home, you are helping the real estate spin doctors to corrupt the language. Home is a place in your heart, and nobody can sell you that.
