I've tested all of the links in the Resources (Categorized Links) file at my Web site. There were eleven bad links, and they have now been repaired.
You can see a list of the repairs in my "What's New" file at http://www.exw6sxq.com/sparky/aue related/whats new.html under "2004 January 22".
About the subject line: I greatly dislike it when I write a meaningful subject line and then see it used for weeks above discussions that have nothing to do with it. My answer to the problem is to use nonsense subject lines to begin with.
If we now have a thread of 400 postings under the subject line "Hortense", chatting about everything from baked apples to the weather in North Dakota, I could not care less.

My middle name is Hortense (don't ask), so I'm grossly miffed by your attitude here, Bob CunningHam.

I have been resisting for several minutes now, but can't stand it any longer. I have to ask, why is your middle name Hortense??

Which bit of "don't ask" didn't you understand, Louisa?
If you must know, the vicar offered a choice of that or Lavinia, so it could have been worse. Something to do with balancing the statistics, apparently.

Interesting (or perhaps not very) - to me, Lavinia would have been by far the better choice.

I think I prefer Hortense, it has a little whiff of French exoticism about it -)

Ah, but Lavinia has the scent of India perfuming its very essence. m.

It would be ironic if there were 400 on-topic postings on the subject of "Hortense".
