What would be an appropriate way to say that
The owner of the accomodation retains the right to enter the accomodation, under special circumstances, in the absence of gusets if he notices that their entrance is necessary to prevent damages which may or may not be predictable, such as water leakage, damaging of windows, shutters and sunshades due to the wind or rain. In case of the above, the owner shall infor the guests on the time and reason of his entrance.

Is it better to say accommodation or facility?Thanks
I think accomodation is better; "facility" refers to something different, look here:
[n] a service that an organization or a piece of equipment offers you; "a cell phone with internet facility"
[n] services and space and equipment provided for a particular purpose; "catering facilities"; "toilet facilities"
[n] a building or place that provides a particular service or is used for a particular industry; "the assembly plant is an enormous facility"

(I only took the explanations that fit here)

Thank you very much P!
What about the rest of the paragrah, any suggestions?

Do you need to state what he owns? Is it not implied that he owns the property?

"The owner retains the right, under certain circumstances, to enter the property in the absence of guests. Such circumstances include (but are not limited to) the prevention of damage, whether predictable or not, such as:

* water leakage

* damage to windows, shutters and shades by wind or rain.

* any other circumstance in which the owner feels it necessary to protect / repair his
property.

In the case of such unannounced entry, the owner will inform the guests of the time of and the reason for such entry.

I don't need to state what he owns, I'm allowed to translate it rather freely. Thanks abbie
