I am currently building an iPhone app that will support English. One of the features is connecting a song to a place, so that a person can see that a particular song has been played at that particular place.

I was thinking about using the word "tag" for it, as in "I am going to tag a song at a place".

And I'm not particular comfortable with the idea, mostly because I don't know if that use of the word tag is suited for what I am trying to convey. It kinda sounds right, but I'm not sure. One of the alternatives was the word "Tie" or even "Link" or "Hook". Any thoughts?

As you could have guessed, I am not a native english speaking person. Hence my difficulty with the matter.

Best regards,
Renato

Hi,
Anonymous...connecting a song to a place, so that a person can see that a particular song has been played at that particular place.
This should convey the basic idea:
Each song is labeled with the place where it was playing (on your iPhone).
