I would like to improve my vocabulary. I already started with 5 words every day.

But for me it is more important that I retain the word that I learn and use them in

conversation and writing. My questions is this: In your experience how many words per week should one

person focus on learning so he/she can get the best outcome in the long run.

1) 5-10 WORDS/WEEK

2) 10-20 WORDS/WEEK

3) 30-35 WORDS/WEEK

4) 36 +

A thoughtful explanation would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Vincent

I'd say 1-3 words a day, will stick with you.

At some point, the quasi-exponential compounding will dilute things.

Of course, it really depends on the goal of your outcome.
