107
170
1007
1070

1701
17587

If the number has more than one correct reading, plz inform

Thanks
If you say 1060640 as "one million sixty thousand six hundred forty", and the listener doesn't quite get, then, to really clarify things, you might try saying: one comma zero six zero comma six four zero.

Hi
Here is the answer:
107 = one hundred seven
170 = one hundred seventy
1007 = one thousand seven
1070 = one thousand seventy
1700 = one thousand seven hundred
1701 = one thousand seven hundred one
17587 = seventeen thousand five hundred eighty seven

Hi Clive,

I came across your answer. Have one question here.

When you just want to inform the number to someone, like in accounting dept, can you read number like this:

17589.63

seventeen five eight nine sixty three cents

If so, how about 10007.25

ten thousand seven dollars and twenty-five cents

Do you have a short version for this?

Thank you.
