Hi
I usually use my checkcard to buy stuff and rarely use my checkbook. But when I have to write I am not quite confident about it.
For ex:
if the amount is $25.00 then I write: twenty five and 00/100...........Dollars.
if the amount is $2,525.00 then I write two thousand five hundred and twenty five - Do I need to include and 00/100?
If the amount is $2,525.25 then I write two thousand five hundred and twenty five and 25/100?
Can someone show me the right way to write in large amount with cents?
Thanks,
Ky

I love grammatically correct people who follow rules. Thank you! Also, I'm 26 and feel as though most of my generation doesn't follow proper grammar and social etiquette, which makes me want to cry. The second I hear a rule (such as writing out any number under ten, and using numbers for any larger number), I make sure to follow it. So, please please please continue to teach these things! <3

They do. They are American, and we write checks to pay for things. It's elementary, dear Watson.
