I’ve correctly used ‘tone,’ ‘with,’ ‘in relation to,’ ‘to,’ ‘by,’ ‘no matter how,’ ‘with,’ and ‘as if’ in my sentences below, haven’t I?

  1. Daniel introduced himself in a cordial tone.
  2. Thomas, the teacher, instructed the students to raise their hands if they had something to share with the class in relation to the subject matter/topic. She moved closer to the reciting students, acknowledged their responses by nodding, and gave them compliments by saying “Very good.”
  3. Phoebe advised me and my cousins to take time to rest no matter how busy we were with our research.
  4. “Too much work will kill you,” Kurt pointed out as if he were a guidance counselor.
