I would like to know if the two sentences would be used in real-life regularly or which one sounds more natural to you??

I know how to read in German
I know to read in German

Maybe this one is more used, but I'd like to know about the two others...

Thanks folks

KekelI know how to read in German This is okay
I know to read in German This is not okay. "I know to" can have a sense of "I know that I am supposed to." Like, "I know to turn off the lights when I leave the room so we don't waste electricity," but you can see that doesn't work for your sentence.

I can read in German Yes, absolutely okay. Even, "I can read German" just like "I can speak French."

I think that both are grammatically correct.

The first sentence makes obvious sense.

The second sentence could easily be read as;

I know to read in German, if I am reading a book written in German.

I know to speak in German, if I am speaking to a German person.

I know to write in German, if I am writing for a German person.

I know to write in English, because if I try to write in German it will be gibberish.

I have considered learning German because of the beauty of the sound of the language.

Mozart was a genius and he did know how to write a little night music but I doubt that he would have been able to write such glorious music if he thought of it as anything other than Eine kleine Nachtmusik.

It would be worth a fair bit of effort just to be able to say Eine kleine Nachtmusik the same way that was said by Wolfgang.

I know how to read German is the more natural. I'd leave out the in.
