I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

No idea what the answer is..help please =/

I think the answer is vanity. Those damn polar bears and their narcissistic lies are going to be the downfall of American Youth! Well, maybe the answer is a duck. [:^)]
i doubt that this is even a real riddle, it was probably made just to confuse people...

if anything, one could guess the riddle, (so the answer to "can you guess the riddle?" would be yes) but not necessarily have an answer to the question "what am i?" that makes complete sense.

The answer in my humble opinion is someone had no life and made up a fake riddle to make eceryone crazy and is probably laughing at everyone making these threads on the web. Its as stupid as saying 1 + 1 = 10 (but that is actually able to be proven with the Bin. setting on the Microsoft calc with scientific mode on. Try it) or saying 1 + 1 = 3, saying a man plus a woman is equal to a man, woman, and child. But thats just my take on things. But it does bring out a thinker you might not think would be in most people, and gives some lonely person/party a type of satisfaction seeing how many people are bickering over this. Also, If there is a true answer other than "No," or "I can't," it is probably a simple 2-8 letter word. Like fire, heat, cold, ect.
alright so we're all trying to think about it like the harvard graduates. think of it like a kid

kids aside, the harvard graduate in me says perhaps gravity
ti can turn hair white?
it can make you cry(tears roll down)
it can make boys pee
girls comb their hair to volumize it cause its flat

on the flipside i just smoked a blunt and have no clue whats going on, and yes this riddle is truely riddling my thought process
It makes no sense at all, actually.
I'm with the people who say that the answer is "No."

Well, I have a bear who is brown, and I KNOW I can't turn him white... so it's definately not "me" or "I." Hmm... you guys are trying too hard. Social life is usually a better path than debate over a nonsense riddle and trying to form scientific theories over the rediculous scenarios.
Anonymous I turn polar bears white (fur is white because they adapt to the altitude. higher atmospheric pressure slower melinin)
and I will make you cry. (peer pressure)
I make guys have to pee (pressure in bladder)
and girls comb their hair. (peer pressure)
I make celebrities look stupid (stress = pressure)
and normal people look like celebrities. (again peer pressure makes u wanna look nice)
I turn pancakes brown (pressure causes heat. heat makes pancakes brown)
and make your champane bubble. (bubbles are the release of air and aire pressure)
If you sqeeze me, I'll pop. (if you somehow squeeze a container of pressurized gas, it explodes)
If you look at me, you'll pop. (could refer to peer pressure. u snap under the pressure, every body staring at you.)

i think its pressure..

Do you really think little kids can come up with "higher atmospheric pressure..." stuff??
Ok, first off... Stop with the Chuck Norris BS and go back to grade school.

Then, it can't be water since not only water makes bubbles. CO2, H, He, N and all other elements and most compounds can be turned into a gaseous form when heated enough. Bubbles occur during boiling which is when the pressure of a gas rising in a liquid is equal to that of the atmospheric pressure. So, if that were the logical balance of this riddle than it could be water as well as the simpler forms of water, oxygen and hydrogen since both can reach boiling points at extremely low degrees.

And to address that whole "time" poem...it does make a lot of sense when you look at it in regards to that riddle, but that poem was obviously made up just to answer this riddle becuase one can look up any published poem at any search engine on the internet and find a copy. You try to search for it, and the only thing that it appears on is this site. However, I must say it is a good poem.

It could be God, but I highly doubt it since this showed up on Myspace like wildfire, and it didn't have any type of religious reference. Everything on Myspace that is related to God has some type of religious scheme that tries to guilt you into feeling like a minority and feeling shameful for not believing in the Christian God. So you can rule that out if its origins are on Myspace.
