I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champane bubble.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

No idea what the answer is..help please =/

_______

Update: Besides 'Time', 'God', 'Pressure' and 'Air':

The #1 solution is 'NO' or 'YES' (as anybody can 'guess' the riddle)

onions?
i think that pressure is a good one, besides the polar bears one.... but i would guess that it was something on the molecular level like an atom or something... because in genes and atoms there is information that would cause bears to be white, and makes guys pee, and pankcakes wouldn't be brown unless the atoms were heated in it, and if you sqeeze and atom it would pop..... so thats my answer wether or not that is what the question is asking can you guess the riddle?

I do not think the answer is "no".......there is a question (that could be answered with "no") but that question has to be in there.......otherwise it would just be a statement.....not a riddle.

I cant really see the "myself" answer becuase how can I make guys pee?? or how can I make myself pop??

also a child would not quess time, pressure, or most other things people came up with.
Everyone makes this seem so complicated! Reread the last line. It is "can you guess the riddle?" The answer is the riddle itself. It may sound stupid, but it never actually asks you to solve the riddle. Interestingly enough, on MySpace, there was a bulletin passed around containing this riddle that gave instructions to repost the bulletin to get the answer, implying that a response would come, but, of course, there is no magic response machine out there. The answer can only be the riddle itself.

I'd say water.
A polar bear is white because of the ice/snow around it. It evolved to be white to blend in
If you put water in your eye you will tear up
If a guy drinks water he will have to pee
If a girl gets her hair wet she will really want to comb it
Rain can make a celebrity look bad/stupid
Normal people can look hot when wet
Pancakes brown...well I don't know this for sure but I would think that if you cook with water it makes the pancakes browner
If you put ice in champagne it will bubble
If you squeeze a water bottle it will pop
If you look at a water bottle it will make you want to "pop" it open

Wow...

Does anyone know the actual answer to this one? I've been looking everywhere, can't find anything solid enough...Who ever came up with this, anyway? "Light" makes sense, in its own little way, as explained in one of the previous replies to this, and kudos to whoever came up with that explanation. In a way, "pressure" makes sense too, again, as was explained in another previous post. Kudos once more. The thing that really has me is the whole popping bit.

I myself guessed "god", despite the fact that I believe in no such thing. That seems to be a popular answer, and it does make sense that children would say something like that...But the answer itself is, again, not foolproof. The popping thing...It really gets me. At one point, for some reason, I was thinking sugar. Don't even ask me how that one works.

The answer of "Yes I can," along with "No I can't" both make sense in some way...But that doesn't mean they're the RIGHT answers, unfortunately. If anyone truly knows what the answer to this riddle was meant to be, I'd be delighted to hear it. I think we're all looking way too deep into this. It's one of those things you really have to stop thinking about before it will come to you.

Being as bored as I currently am, if anyone would like to continue this debate with me, feel free to reach me through AIM at the SN of VC BloodShine.

Onto another subject, here's one for you not so difficult. It'll make us all feel better to actually get one right =)

"What's between heaven and hell that you can't touch, taste, or smell?"

I guessed three wrong answers, then the guy who told me gave me a tiiiiny hint, and I got it right. YaY me. Not to change the subject (although I'm sure no one really minds, considering how frustrating this one has become), but if anyone has an answer, good luck.

IM me for the real one if you like ~.^
Haha you win at life.
