Dear all,

I would like to know whether the following sentences are correct. If incorrect, please correct them.

1) I ate as many apples as Tom ate.

2) I ate twice as many apples as Tom ate.

3) I ate the same amount of apples as Tom ate.

4) We both ate the same number of apples.

5) I will give you as much money as you want.

6) I will give you any much money you want.

Thank you.

"same number" is better with countable nouns, as you have in 4).

I ate the same number of apples as Tom ate.

cat navy 4256) I will give you any much amount of money you want.

It's 'any amount of', not 'any much'. That said, 5) is more likely how we would say it.

The others are all correct.
