Could anyone tell whether this sentence sound natural or not -

" Subtitles are usually preffered over dubbing because you're able to relate to the emotions with preserving the originality of the movie"



It should be, for example: "Subtitles are usually preferred over dubbing, because with the original movie intact, you're better able to relate to the emotions on screen." However, this is apparently not true. Well-done dubbing seems to be the better choice.
