The diagram below shows one way of manufacturing ceramic pots

The diagram highlights the different steps involved in the process by which ceramic pots are produced. The procedure is broken down into twelve key steps beginning with raw materials and ending with finished pots.

At the beginning of the process, raw materials are dug out of the ground by the excavator. Then the materials are loaded onto lorries in order to be taken to the factory. The process continue at the factory, the raw materials are crushing into small pieces, which are then mixed with water. After being mixed thoroughly, the mixture are then poured into the moulds.

Subsequently, having been left in the moulds for between 4 to 6 hours to be dried, the clay is assembled and becomes pot-shaped. Once the pots have been placed in an oven to be heated with temperature of 1000 degrees celcius, they are then added colour. Following that, the pots is laid in a colour firing before being finished pots.
