Can you correct mistakes and give me some bits of advice?

The line graph illustrates the amount of people over 65 with influenza in a specific village in the UK between 1985 and 1995.

Overall, the cases of influenza fluctuated over the years. In general, the trend increased gradually with the highest point in 1991 with 75 elderly people.

In 1985, there were 40 people who got sick, but the tendency continued to rise until 1987 and reached 55 people. Then, it gradually went down in the next two years and increased significantly to reach the peak in 1991.

From then on, the people who had flu slightly decreased to about 60 people in 1993. Nevertheless, there was a slight increase of 5 people in the next year and went down back to the same number of affected people as in 1993 at the end of the period.

I see some potential problems.

"trend increase" is not good.

"amount of people" is surely wrong. Amount is used with non-count things like money, salt or water.

I doubt that "fluctuate" is correctly used. I rarely see this phenomenon on Task 1 line graphs.

I think you need to post the chart with the line graph.
