Some people say that too much attention and too many resources are given in the protection of wild animals and birds. Do you agree or disagree about this opinion?

Many people argue that the conservation of wild animals and birds is concerned too much and used too many resources. Personally I completely disagree with that view.

There are two main reasons why I think that society shows a lack of concern for protecting wildlife. One reason is that the media is not effective enough for everyone. Wild species are still hunted a lot for human consumptions. People need to be educated that these activities are causing negative effects on biodiversity. Furthermore, numerous national parks in some countries are not well cared for. Many of them are in poor infrastructure and under ineffective management. Besides, loggers still can sneak into these areas to cut down trees and attack wild animals which leads to the damage of natural habitat and the threat to the survival of living things.

Apart from the issues expressed above, resources allocation is also a serious problem. Firstly, government should invest more money in national parks in order to improve facilities and management which help safeguard and conserve wildlife. If those park are not adequately maintained, wildlife will be more vulnerable to poachers. Secondly, time and human resources are never adequate for regenerating and improving natural environment. The world’s environments are being destroyed much faster than they can recover. It might also results in the vanishing of wild animals and bird.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mention above, I strongly believe that much more attention and resources should be given in order to protect wildlife species.
