The picture illustrates the process of generating electricity by geothermal energy.

Overall, it is clear that there are five steps required in this process, starting with cold water entering the ground and ending with the production of electricity by a generator.

The pump of cold water into the injection well lying 4.5 kilometers deep commences the whole process, after which the pumped water is heated up by hot rocks including in the geothermal zone. After that, the hot water reaches the production well and is then pumped up to the condenser on the ground to continue the process.

At the fourth stage of the process, the heated water evaporates in the condenser to create steam serving the trigger of a turbine. The generator connected with the turbine is subsequently powered, thereby producing the end product, which is electricity. The resulting electricity can finally flow into the power station to distribute farther.
