The first one sounds like Eve 6 - Here's to the Night, but all I know of it is Nah nah nah nahh, nah nah nah nah nahhh. Nah nah nah nahhh nah nah nah. I wish I could remember more of it.

The other has the lyrics "drown in your ocean" and "run into the ground" in it.

Both songs are in the classic rock genre.
