The longman dictionary says:
4 advantage in somebody's favour if something is in someone's favour, it gives them an advantage over someone else:

And, I made two sentences:
a.) The score is 2 to 1 in favour of France.
b.) The score is 2 to 1 in France's favour.

Which one do you think is ok?
